Job summary
Western Alliance Bancorporation is seeking a Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking - Middle Market to lead market development and loan origination in the Costa Mesa/San Diego region. You will build a new book of business by identifying target markets, negotiating terms, underwriting loans, and coordinating closings within the bank's lending policies.
You will also expand deposit relationships, promote treasury services, and analyze client information to tailor deposit product solutions.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
- Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Advanced knowledge in all facets of relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Identify target market for new business and develop a book of new business from those relationships.
- Negotiate, underwriting, and coordinate closing of major and complex loans.
- Develop and maintain customer data base and report results to superiors.
- Promote and sell Bank products and services to establish a new book of business.
- Coordinate processing of approved loans and ensure compliance with lending policies.
