Job summary

Private Company, LLP is seeking a VP, Capital Markets to lead the capital markets function, directing securitization, financing and warehousing, and special situations. The role partners with the CFO and reports to the executive team, with direct access to the Board and external capital partners.

The position requires expert-level market insight, independent judgment, and strong communication skills to present to executives and lenders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related quantitative field.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in securitization, structured finance, warehouse financing, or capital markets, including direct deal execution experience in a lending, banking, or investment environment.
Demonstrated expertise with mortgage finance and structured finance, including securitization and warehouse facility structures and execution alternatives.

Responsibilities

Own the securitization program end to end: structuring, execution, and investor marketing, with banks, rating agencies, and counsel.
Set program and structure strategy, including revolver period duration, deal sizing, and evolution of structure for efficiency.
Maintain a current view on credit spreads and the rate environment, translating market moves into timing and structure decisions.
