The VP, Capital Markets is a senior leader who owns our Company's capital markets function, partnering directly with the CFO to run the firm's securitization program, warehouse financing strategy, and banking and investor relationships. The role leads a team organized across three major functional areas, Securitization, Financing & Warehousing, and Special Situations, and is accountable for the performance, strategy, and growth of all three.
This is a senior, high-autonomy role. Work product is expected to be complete, accurate, and executive-ready without review. This individual is expected to operate as the firm's resident expert in capital markets, anticipating market and portfolio shifts before they surface and bringing solutions to the table rather than reacting after the fact.
It is also a high-exposure role with direct access to the C-suite and to the Company's Board members, banks, investors, and rating agencies. The VP, Capital Markets will have regular conversations with the CEO, CFO, and executive team, as well as with capital partners, and must be able to engage credibly and substantively with pointed questions in real time rather than deferring for follow-up. Success requires the presence, judgment, and communication skills to represent the firm as its capital markets expert on a routine basis.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities & Qualifications

- Define clear ownership and accountability within each major functional area, holding team members to the direction set and course-correcting quickly when needed.
- Build real depth and bench strength in each specialty rather than a generalist model, so the team can absorb departures, underperformance, or shifting priorities without starting over.
