Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, risk management, legal and/or finance-related field preferred or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of insurance, risk management and/or legal experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Willingness to travel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to manage client accounts and develop relationships

Responsibilities

• Assess, understand and explain the management and professional liability exposures of financial institution clients
• Craft and build management and professional liability risk transfer solutions
• Negotiate market-leading insurance terms and conditions with underwriters
• Develop and lead professional relationships with clients and underwriters
• Collaborate with internal colleagues to deliver work on time
• Stay current on insurance market developments and underwriting practices
• Participate in unscheduled client matters including claim consultation; mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; and initial public offerings
• Manage an assigned book of client accounts
• Participate in new business development opportunities
