Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group in Miramar, Florida, is seeking a Senior Specialist, Accounting to record voyage revenues and expenses for multiple vessels with $1B+ in revenues. This on-site role reports to the Senior Analyst, Accounting.

You will extract data from reservation systems, verify entries, review contracts, and support audits with cross-department coordination including international offices. The position requires a degree and relevant accounting experience, and it offers growth and exposure

Qualifications

• Experience with IBM AS400 and Oracle accounting systems.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Experience with Outlook and other Office tools.
• Cruise industry knowledge preferred.
• Ability to meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines.
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.
• Strong communication with various departments on voyage verification.
• Associate degree or equivalent with 2–4 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Record voyage revenues and expenses for assigned vessels.
• Perform voyage data extraction from the reservation system.
• Verify and update extracts for errors and omissions.
• Review ship charter contracts and reflect charges properly.
• Prepare and analyze Excel reports for audits and management.
• Coordinate resolution of discrepancies with Operations Accounting and Groups.
• Process change requests for voyage adjustments.
• Support Sarbanes-Oxley and audits as needed.
