The American Red Cross in Louisiana’s North Chapter seeks a Volunteer Services Senior Specialist to lead recruitment and engagement of volunteers. You’ll develop broad-based strategies, screen and place volunteers, and ensure programs align with regional goals.

The role emphasizes collaboration, data tracking, and timely reporting to maintain a robust volunteer pipeline. The position requires 5+ years of related experience, a Bachelor's degree, strong communication and teamwork, and travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within the top 29 parishes.

Responsabilités

• Utilize recruitment strategies to meet volunteer recruitment targets and track leads to referral.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with volunteer agencies and populations for a strong candidate pipeline.
• Assist in scheduling orientations and coordinating volunteer events and placements.
• Provide coaching to volunteer teams and implement engagement and retention strategies.
