Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation is seeking a Voice Network Engineer to support a Scott AFB enterprise program. This full‑time role focuses on tier 3 engineering for voice networks and Cisco VoIP systems.

The candidate will configure CUCM, Unity, and SBCs, develop SIP connections, and collaborate with internal teams. A Bachelor’s degree and CCNP Collaboration are required, along with U.S. citizenship and Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in VoIP/telecom engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• CCNP Collaboration certification.
• Hands-on experience with switches/routers.
• Experience with Cisco CUCM and Cisco Unity.
• Able to work with all organizational levels.
• U.S. citizen with Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide tier 3 engineering and support for voice and communications networks.
• Configure, patch, STIG, and enhance Cisco VoIP systems including Call Manager and Unity.
• Develop configurations for SIP connections and SBCs to external networks.
• Integrate SIP between VoIP network and customer networks such as Asterisk and Call Manager Express.
