Job summary

Network Designs, Inc. (NDi) is seeking a Voice Operations Specialist to manage day-to-day operations, maintenance, and modernization of a large-scale enterprise voice environment.

The role emphasizes availability, performance, security, and service delivery across diverse telecom platforms. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with enterprise telephony platforms, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate across technical, operational, and cybersecurity teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, telecommunications, CS, engineering, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise telecommunications, voice, VoIP, contact center, or unified communications environments.
• Experience with large-scale production voice platforms and operations, incident response, and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support and maintenance of enterprise telecommunications and voice infrastructure.
• Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of voice and unified communications services.
• Monitor system health and proactively identify service degradation, outages, and operational risks.
• Maintain operational procedures, support documentation, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for telecommunications incidents and service disruptions.
• Troubleshoot complex issues involving VoIP systems, SIP services, call routing, voice gateways, and telecommunications infrastructure.
• Coordinate issue resolution across technical teams, vendors, and service providers.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring incidents.
• Support after-hours maintenance windows and critical incident response activities as required.
