Job summary

Network Designs, Inc. (NDi) is seeking a Voice Operations Specialist to oversee day-to-day operations of a large enterprise voice environment in Huntsville, AL.

You will ensure availability, performance, and security of voice services, working across technical, operational, and cybersecurity teams. The role requires a TS clearance, on-site presence, and eight-plus years in enterprise voice platforms with experience in CUCM, SIP, SBCs, and related technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience may substitute.
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in enterprise telecommunications, voice, VoIP, contact center, or UC environments.
• Experience with large-scale production voice platforms including operations, maintenance, incident response, and service delivery.
• Experience with CUCM, Cisco Voice, Webex Calling, Mitel, NEC, Teams Phone, or similar platforms.
• Experience with SIP-based communications, voice gateways, routing, SBCs, and VoIP infrastructure.
• Experience providing Tier 2/3 operational support and troubleshooting.
• Experience with SLAs, incident management, and performance metrics.
• Experience using ITSM/ticketing platforms.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day operational support and maintenance of enterprise voice infrastructure.
• Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of voice and UC services.
• Monitor system health and identify degradations, outages, and risks.
• Maintain SOPs, support docs, and configuration records.
• Provide Tier 2/3 incident support and service restoration.
• Troubleshoot VoIP systems, SIP services, routing, gateways, and infrastructure.
• Coordinate resolutions with cross-functional teams, vendors, and providers.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support after-hours maintenance and critical incident response as needed.
