Job summary

CBTS is seeking a Senior Voice Engineer onsite in Irving, TX for a 12-month engagement. You will design, implement, configure, and manage our enterprise voice infrastructure, focusing on Microsoft Teams Voice and Unified Communications.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical users, coordinating with teams to ensure seamless voice services and high availability.

Pay Rate: $50- $55/hour on W2, client will not consider C2C

Job overview:

Senior Voice Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Teams Voice and Unified Communications to support the design, implementation, configuration, and management of our enterprise voice infrastructure. This role will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing Teams Phone solutions, Direct Routing, and related voice services while ensuring a seamless communication experience across the organization.

Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

Senior Voice Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Teams Voice and Unified Communications

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Active listening and analysis to identify issues or problems
• Research and creativity to identify a solution to the issue or problem
• Ability to communicate resolutions in a simple, easy to understand manner
• Verbal and written - via phone, email, chat, etc.
• Must be able to clearly communicate instructions and current tasks
• Must be able to describe technical items to non-technical users
• Ability to help a team member or customer real-time while performing other tasks

Education & Certification Requirements

• 3+ years' experience managing enterprise systems (Cisco, MS Teams)
• Knowledge and understanding of common VoIP protocols (e.g., SIP, H323, MGCP, RTP, etc.)
• Strong knowledge/experience on Cisco CUCM, Finesse, MS Teams voice services.
