Job summary

A staffing and recruiting firm is seeking a mid-senior level Telecommunications Specialist to assist with support and implementation of telecommunications infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience with Cisco Call Manager and telecommunications equipment. This is a fully onsite role located in Fayetteville, Georgia, offering a contract with potential for extension.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in telecommunications installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of video conferencing equipment and voice/data systems.
• Experience in generating utilization reports and maintaining databases.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Cisco Unified Collaboration environments.
• Resolving complex incidents in telecommunications.
• Support telecom infrastructure initiatives.

Base pay range

$45.00/hr - $60.00/hr

6 Month Contract (Potential for extension or conversion)

Fully onsite (Travel between Newnan and Fayetteville locations)

This role is responsible for assisting with the support, maintenance, and implementation of the telecommunications infrastructure for the enterprise. This includes the administration of the telecommunications infrastructure and its associated software, including Cisco Call Manager, call accounting systems, voice mail, interactive voice response, video conferencing systems and web conferencing systems.

Responsibilities

1. Performs design, implementation, maintenance and monitoring of Cisco Unified Collaboration (UC) environments.
2. Resolves complex incidents and service requests independently.
3. Generates utilization reports related to telecommunications equipment and services.
4. Maintains telecommunications inventory and database of phone numbers, parts and supplies.
5. Provide support to telecom infrastructure initiatives in the areas of Cisco Call Manager, voicemail, video conferencing and web conferencing
6. Provides server level support of the telecommunications environment including backup, capacity monitoring and server rebuild with vendor support.
7. Independently provides basic and complex administration of the telecom environments.
8. Assists with developing technical reference architecture and enterprise standards for Cisco

Qualifications

• (4) years of experience including hands-on knowledge of the installation, implementation, configuring, programming, and maintenance of telecommunications equipment, video conferencing equipment, and voice/data equipment including current versions of Cisco Call Manager is required.
