Job summary

Cayuse Holdings, LLC is seeking a Senior Voice Data Communication Engineer to provide technical direction across planning, design, development, installation, testing, and maintenance of large communications networks. This role emphasizes collaboration, security, and adaptability within a dynamic environment.

The engineer will design and deploy voice and data systems, participate in deployment, testing, and troubleshooting, and prepare detailed network documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent practical experience considered.
• Minimum seven years in voice/data communications engineering preferred but not required with certifications.
• BICSI Technician certification required.
• Top-Secret Clearance required.
• Background checks may be conducted as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop large-scale voice and data networks to meet performance, security, and scalability needs.
• Participate in installation and deployment of voice/data systems following standards.
• Test and troubleshoot network components to ensure reliability and performance.
• Maintain and repair network infrastructure to minimize downtime.
• Prepare documentation, configurations, and procedures for operations and upgrades.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement communications solutions.
• Adhere to industry best practices and standards in all activities.
• Ensure planning for building communications spaces and media pathways meet standards.
• Develop, operate, and maintain voice, wireless, video, and data systems.
• Other duties as assigned.
