The role emphasizes certifications such as BICSI Installer 1, Avaya, or Nortel, and requires Top-Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering or related field; practical experience considered.
• At least 2 years in voice/data communications engineering preferred; certifications accepted.
• Certifications: BICSI Installer 1, Avaya Certified, or Nortel Certified.
• Top-Secret Clearance required; background checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and develop large-scale voice and data networks.
• Install and deploy voice/data systems adhering to standards.
• Test and troubleshoot network components for reliability.
• Maintain network infrastructure and address issues.
• Prepare detailed network documentation and procedures.
