Job summary

Cayuse Holdings is seeking a Voice Data Communication Engineer, SME to provide technical direction and engineering expertise across large communications networks. This entry- to mid-level role emphasizes hands-on growth within a dynamic team.

Responsibilities include planning, designing, installing, testing, and maintaining voice/data systems while adhering to industry standards and Cayuse values of innovation, collaboration, and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field preferred.
• At least 10 years of relevant voice/data communications engineering experience preferred.
• One of these certifications required: BICSI RCDD or Cisco CCD/CCNA etc.
• Top‑Secret Clearance required.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and develop large-scale voice and data networks to meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
• Install and deploy voice/data systems adhering to organizational and industry standards.
• Test and troubleshoot network components for reliable functionality and optimal performance.
• Maintain network infrastructure and resolve issues to ensure uninterrupted operation.
• Prepare documentation, configurations, and procedures for operations and upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions meeting business needs.
• Apply industry best practices and standards to all projects.
• Direct building communications spaces and media pathways to industry standards.
