Cayuse Holdings is seeking an entry‑level Voice Data Communication Engineer, Junior, to design, deploy, test, and maintain large voice/data networks. Ideal candidates hold a relevant bachelor’s degree, the mandatory certifications, and a willingness to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of voice/data engineering experience preferred; certifications allowed in lieu of experience.
• Certifications mandatory: BICSI Installer 1, Avaya, or Nortel; Top‑Secret clearance.
• Background check required and on-site availability in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, designing, and developing large-scale voice and data networks.
• Participate in installation and deployment of voice/data systems per standards.
• Conduct testing and troubleshoot network components for reliability.
• Support maintenance and repair of network infrastructure.
• Prepare detailed documentation, configurations, and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business needs.
