Job summary

Cayuse Holdings in Illinois is seeking a Senior Voice Data Communication Engineer to provide technical direction across large voice and data networks, from planning to maintenance. This role emphasizes hands-on engineering and collaboration.

You will design, install, test, and troubleshoot systems, prepare documentation, and work with cross-functional teams while adhering to industry standards. A TS clearance and BICSI certification are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
• BICSI Technician certification is required.
• Top-Secret Clearance is required.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Network Design & Development: Assist in planning, designing, and developing large-scale voice and data networks to meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
• Installation & Infrastructure Support: Participate in the installation and deployment of voice/data communication systems, ensuring adherence to standards.
• Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct testing and troubleshooting of network components for reliable operation.
• Maintenance: Support maintenance and repair of network infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted operation.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare documentation, network configurations, and system procedures.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional technical teams to coordinate activities.
