Job summary

Parlance is seeking a senior software engineer to own end-to-end development of a modern voice AI platform. You will work on telephony, real-time media, orchestration, and APIs, shaping the future of our healthcare voice agents.

You will design, implement, and deploy features across the stack, including CCaaS connectivity, backend services in Python, and front-end dashboards. A strong background in real-time systems and LLM integration is essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years shipping production software
• Strong Python and full-stack experience
• Experience with real-time voice/telephony stacks
• LLM integration experience in production
• Strong debugging and ambiguity tolerance

Responsibilities

• Design and build real-time voice agents on Tensor/real-time stacks
• Own features across stack: telephony/CCaaS, backend services, dashboards
• Integrate agents with healthcare systems via FHIR-based APIs
• Debug production issues: audio quality, call flows, distributed systems
• Set up evaluation and observability for voice agents
• Contribute to architecture decisions and code reviews
• Collaborate with product and customers to translate requirements into shipped software
