Job summary

Community Mainstreaming Associates, Inc. in Westbury, NY is seeking a Vocational Coordinator to lead daily operations of Supported Employment and Prevocational Services, supervise staff, manage caseloads, and ensure documentation meets OPWDD and agency standards.

The role focuses on delivering person-centered vocational services to promote employment readiness, placement, and long-term success for participants.

Qualifications

Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
Prior supervisory or management experience required.
Reliable transportation with current insurance and registration required.
Proficiency with computers and common workplace technology required.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of SEMP and Community-Based Prevocational Services.
Assign and monitor staff caseloads to ensure balanced service delivery.
Monitor participant enrollment, service delivery, utilization, and program needs.
Ensure services comply with OPWDD regulations, Medicaid requirements, and agency policies.
Collaborate with leadership regarding program performance, staffing needs, and outcomes.
Supervise Job Coaches, Job Developers, Prevocational staff, and Vocational Lead.
Provide coaching and corrective guidance; set expectations and monitor performance.
Support onboarding, training, and ongoing staff development.
