Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a VMware Engineer to design, deploy, and operate VMware-based virtualization across data centers and hybrid cloud environments. The focus is on vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Aria, and Tanzu with strong automation.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of VMware hands-on experience, deep scripting skills, and a track record of enterprise-scale deployments while ensuring reliability and security. This is a 100% remote U.S. role.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, or related field.
8+ years hands-on VMware engineering experience.
Deep expertise in vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.
Experience with NSX-T or NSX-V networking and vSAN.
Strong PowerCLI scripting and automation tooling experience.

Responsibilities

Design and operate VMware vSphere, vSAN, NSX in data centers and hybrid cloud deployments.
Build Tanzu Kubernetes Grid environments for containerized workloads.
Implement vRealize / Aria Automation for self-service VM provisioning and lifecycle management.
Operate NSX-T for software-defined networking and micro-segmentation.
Manage vSAN clusters, storage policies, and performance across workloads.
Lead upgrades and patching with minimal disruption and strong DR practices.
Build automation for VMware infrastructure using PowerCLI, Terraform, Ansible, and vRO.
