Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Data Center Virtualization Engineer for 100% remote work in the United States. The role focuses on designing, deploying, and operating VMware-based virtualization across on-prem and hybrid clouds, with emphasis on automation and capacity management.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of hands-on VMware experience, strong scripting, and collaboration skills to support enterprise-scale environments using vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Tanzu, and Aria platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Five or more years of hands-on VMware platform engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.
• Hands-on experience with vSAN and storage policy management.
• Experience with NSX-T or NSX-V networking.
• Strong PowerCLI scripting skills and automation tooling.
• Familiarity with Tanzu Kubernetes Grid or VMware container platforms.
• Strong disaster recovery (SRM) understanding.
• Strong troubleshooting across compute, network, and storage layers.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate VMware-based virtualization across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments.
• Manage vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, NSX, Aria, and Tanzu portfolios.
• Drive automation, capacity planning, and operational discipline to ensure reliability.
