Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Virtualization Engineer to design, deploy, and operate VMware-based virtualization across on-prem and hybrid cloud environments. The role covers vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Aria, and Tanzu, with a focus on automation, capacity management, and the practical realities of operating a large VMware estate alongside modern cloud-native workloads.

The ideal candidate has operated VMware platforms at enterprise scale, navigates the evolving VMware product landscape

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, or related field.
• Five or more years hands-on VMware platform engineering.
• Deep expertise in vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.
• Experience with NSX-T or NSX-V networking.
• Strong PowerCLI scripting skills and automation tooling.
• Familiarity with Tanzu Kubernetes Grid or VMware container platforms.
• Strong disaster recovery patterns and SRM.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across compute, network, and storage layers.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
