Job summary

PGTEK is seeking a Senior Virtualization Engineer to support a VMware Cloud Foundation 9 deployment at Hanscom AFB, MA. This onsite role requires an Active Secret clearance and VCP certification, with extensive VMware expertise.

You will implement and administer VCF environments across NIPR ISN and SIPR ISN, perform upgrades, troubleshooting, and provide technical support within a collaborative team. PGTEK offers a comprehensive benefits package and stable, on‑site work.

Qualifications

Active Secret clearance required.
VCP certification required.
Extensive VMware experience, especially with VCF.
Ability to work onsite at Hanscom AFB, MA.

Responsibilities

Support implementation and deployment of VCF 9 on Hanscom AFB.
Translate designs into working VCF implementations.
Perform administration, configuration, and maintenance of VMware VCF environments.
Support upgrades, patches, and lifecycle activities for VCF.
Troubleshoot VMware virtualization and VCF issues.
Collaborate with architects and engineers to maintain the environment.
Document configurations and procedures as required.
Provide ongoing technical support for VMware environments.
