Job summary

PGTEK is seeking a Senior Virtualization Engineer to support a VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9 deployment at Hanscom AFB, MA. This onsite role requires an active Secret clearance and a VCP certification, with extensive VMware expertise to implement and manage VCF across multiple environments.

The engineer will collaborate with enterprise architects and IT staff, perform upgrades and lifecycle activities, and provide ongoing administration, troubleshooting, and support for VMware environments on

Qualifications

Active Secret clearance required.
VCP certification required.
Extensive hands-on experience with VMware virtualization technologies.
On-site at Hanscom AFB, MA.
Experience with DoD/government environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Support the implementation and deployment of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9.
Translate enterprise designs into working VCF implementations.
Perform administration, configuration, and maintenance of VMware VCF environments.
Support VCF upgrades, patches, and lifecycle activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve VMware virtualization and VCF issues.
Document configurations and operational procedures.
