Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9 and core components (vSphere, vSAN, NSX, SDDC Manager).
• Experience deploying, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting VCF environments.
• Ability to work independently in a senior engineering capacity.
• CompTIA Security+ required.
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) required.
• VCP-VCF 9 Administrator certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9 environments.
• Administer and troubleshoot core VCF components: vSphere, vSAN, NSX, SDDC Manager.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across the VCF stack and identify root causes.
• Support the implementation and configuration of virtualization infrastructure per requirements and best practices.
• Monitor health and performance of virtualized environments and address issues proactively.
• Perform system upgrades, configuration changes, and maintenance activities.
• Document configurations, troubleshooting steps, and procedures.
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve infrastructure issues and support mission requirements.
