Job summary

The Senior Visual Designer at Giant Spoon is responsible for concepting and designing brand campaigns in partnership with other creatives across disciplines, from campaign development to brand identity and motion graphics. You will work solo on some projects and lead small teams on others.

Based at our Wpromote x Giant Spoon NYC headquarters, the role follows a Tuesday–Thursday on-site pattern with remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of design experience in a fast-paced creative environment.
• BA degree in graphic design or equivalent training.
• Advanced knowledge of computer design software and hardware.
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite; motion design skills a plus.
• Agility in design style for different client needs.
• Strong problem-solving and learning mindset.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Collaborative across departments and offices.
• Excellent ability to articulate and present ideas.
• Sophisticated typography and color sensibilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver all graphic design components on assigned projects, including unique graphic systems for campaigns.
• Develop branding for campaigns from logo design to full brand systems.
• Custodian of Giant Spoon and client logos/style guides; ensure up-to-date usage.
• Art direct pitches and projects, create a visual language supporting the brand and objectives.
• Create and curate creative decks and presentations for new business pitches.
• Share and present work to creative leadership; push boundaries when appropriate.
• Present work to clients within the project context.
• Adhere to print budgets and value-engineer graphic solutions.
• Proactively manage tight timelines for digital and print graphics.
