Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing software development, modernization, or application-support projects for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Experience managing project schedules, milestones, budgets, scope, risks, dependencies, and change control across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Knowledge of VA VistA applications and the VistA software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methods, including Scrum or SAFe.
• Ability to coordinate requirements analysis, solution planning, development, testing, implementation, and post-release activities.
• Ability to communicate project status, risks, dependencies, corrective actions, and delivery readiness to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple software development, modernization, and application-support initiatives for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Develop project roadmaps, establish milestones, track delivery metrics, and manage budgets and scope.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and change-control needs across initiatives.
• Partner with VA business owners and technical teams to ensure solutions meet requirements.
