Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a senior Project Manager to lead VistA Pharmacy and Modernization efforts for the Department of Veterans Affairs. You will coordinate technical teams, business stakeholders, VA leadership, and delivery partners to move projects from planning through implementation and post‑release support.

You will develop roadmaps, establish milestones, track delivery metrics, manage budgets and scope, and identify risks and dependencies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing software development, modernization, or application‑support projects for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Experience managing project schedules, milestones, budgets, scope, risks, dependencies, and change control across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Knowledge of VA VistA applications and the VistA software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methods, including Scrum or SAFe.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple software development, modernization, and application‑support initiatives supporting the VA.
• Develop project roadmaps, establish milestones, track delivery metrics, manage budgets and scope, and identify risks and dependencies.
• Coordinate requirements analysis, solution planning, development, testing, implementation, and post‑release activities.
• Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, corrective actions, and delivery readiness to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
