Job summary

Cognex Corporation is hiring for a field-based Account Manager role in the United States. You will forecast, close, and lead vision-systems opportunities with end users, partners, and OEMs, using Cognex processes to demonstrate products and win large strategic deals.

You will travel up to 40% and collaborate with cross-territory teams, visiting customers, following up on inquiries, and coordinating with Applications Engineering for evaluations.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience and a strong track record of exceeding targets.
• Experience selling technical products to all levels of an organization is required.
• Experience in selling vision products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Forecast and close vision solutions opportunities with End Users, Partners, and OEMs to reach quota.
• Demonstrate Cognex products to customers and win large strategic opportunities.
• Follow up on leads and schedule customer visits for large opportunities.
• Conduct customer visits in a solution sales environment.
• Collaborate with counterparts across territories on opportunities.
