Cognex Corporation in the United States seeks a seasoned sales professional to drive vision solutions to End Users, Partners, and OEMs. You will demonstrate Cognex products, manage opportunities, and travel as needed to win large strategic deals.

You will coordinate with the Applications Engineering team and other territories while maintaining strong account relationships and closing quotas. This role offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a focus on results.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proven sales experience and a good track record for exceeding sales targets.
• Experience selling technical products to all levels of an organization.
• Experience selling vision products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Forecast and close vision solutions opportunities with End Users, Partners, and OEMs to reach quota.
• Demonstrate Cognex products to customers and win large strategic opportunities.
• Follow up on sales leads and schedule customer visits, seeking large opportunities.
• Conduct customer visits in a solution sales environment.
• Collaborate with counterparts from other territories on opportunities that are integrated or installed elsewhere.
• Follow up on inquiries, understand system requirements, and differentiate Cognex solutions.
• Assist at trade shows and other marketing events.
• Coordinate evaluations with the Applications Engineering team.
• Maintain and update project information in Sales Book.
