Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional C++ software development experience including machine vision and image-processing algorithms.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Science; Master's degree preferred.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and object-oriented software design; practical development of vision algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance machine vision software using C++ for semiconductor manufacturing and automated inspection equipment.
• Develop, validate, and optimize computer vision and image-processing algorithms for object detection, segmentation, alignment, measurement, and defect inspection.
• Design maintainable software components and architectures using object-oriented principles; own complex features and provide technical leadership.
• Integrate machine vision software with automated equipment and imaging systems; apply machine learning techniques when appropriate.
• Participate in requirements analysis, design, implementation, reviews, integration, testing, and performance improvement; collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing teams.
• Troubleshoot complex vision and software problems in development and production; perform root-cause analysis and durable corrective actions.
• Support deployment and continuous improvement with manufacturing, field service, customers, and other stakeholders; provide technical guidance and mentoring.
