Job summary

You will work on machine control applications, integrate with PLCs and sensors, and collaborate with systems, electrical, and mechanical engineers to deliver robust software for cutting-edge chip and display manufacturing equipment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with C# or C++ development.
• Experience in OO design and software architecture.
• Experience with source control systems (Git, Azure DevOps, SVN).
• Experience troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Develop machine control applications using OO design and modern architectures.
• Implement control software for motion control, robotics, laser modules, vision, and factory interfaces.
• Collaborate with systems, electrical, and mechanical engineers to define requirements and software architecture.
• Develop software interfaces to PLCs and sensors.
• Support equipment integration, debugging, and validation activities.
• Participate in design/code reviews and software verification testing.
• Investigate field issues and implement corrective actions.
• Generate technical documentation and support release processes.
• Support customer installations and factory acceptance testing.
