Greenpoint Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to create complex VIP aircraft interiors and mechanisms using CAD tools.

You will interpret subsystem specs, select materials, and collaborate with Manufacturing to optimize designs for cost, quality, and manufacturability. You will ensure compliance with FAA requirements and client criteria while contributing to esthetic product development.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Aviation background and aircraft interior experience preferred.
• Strong CAD skills in Inventor (3D) and AutoCAD (2D).
• Experience with design-for-manufacturing and tolerance analysis.

Aufgaben

• Designs complex VIP aircraft monuments and mechanisms (tables, cabinets, bulkheads, vanities, lavatories, divans).
• Analyzes subsystem and project specifications and selects materials meeting structural and cost criteria.
• Collaborates with Manufacturing Engineers to reduce parts, cost, and assembly errors.
• Ensures designs comply with customer criteria, quality standards, and FAA requirements.
• Creates esthetic product designs in line with market needs and customer acceptance.
• Supports test setups and test reports; maintains documentation per standards.
• Maintains knowledge of state-of-the-art design practices and tools.
