Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies, located in Washington, is seeking an experienced electrical design engineer for interior aircraft systems. The role focuses on design, modification, installation, certification, and testing, with emphasis on FAA requirements and cross-functional collaboration.

The position is a temporary agency-based assignment requiring leadership, strong CAD skills, and the ability to coordinate with clients and designees. Industry experience preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with aircraft interior electrical systems and FAA design requirements.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and communicate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and review electrical designs for aircraft interiors.
• Develop wiring diagrams and technical documents using CAD and tools.
• Coordinate with clients, FAA designees, and vendors to meet requirements.
• Support verification/test procedures and schedule adherence.
• Mentor engineers and ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Assist in bid estimates and project planning.
