Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies seeks a skilled electrical design engineer to develop and modify complex aircraft interior electrical systems for Commercial, VIP, and Special Mission jets. You will work on research, design, modification, installation, integration, certification, and testing to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires collaboration with clients, FAA designees, and vendors, with an emphasis on producing high-quality engineering documentation and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Aerospace or Electrical engineering with minimum of 5 years relevant experience; aviation background preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of Boeing aircraft or similar VIP/commercial models.
• Proficient in CAD and data management systems; able to produce complex layouts and studies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating master drawing list of electrical systems drawings and documents for project level STC.
• Support electrical system architecture development to meet client and regulatory requirements.
• Design wire diagrams, wire kits, and other technical documents using engineering tools.
• Review completed drawing packages and approve for release.
• Develop verification and test procedures to comply with FAA design requirements.
• Support installation of systems and coordinate with modification facilities.
