Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies seeks an experienced electrical design engineer to create and review complex interior electrical systems for VIP and Commercial aircraft. You will define system architecture, develop wire diagrams, and coordinate with clients, FAA designees, and vendors to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a strong background in aerospace electrical design, CAD drafting, and mentoring of junior engineers, with an emphasis on regulatory compliance and integration with cabin

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Electrical engineering with 8+ years experience, aviation background preferred.
• US Person status required for ITAR programs.
• Experience leading engineers and mentoring teams on design projects.
• Proficient with CAD and data management systems; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain master electrical drawings and document sets for project level STC.
• Define electrical system architecture to meet client and regulatory requirements.
• Design wire diagrams and kits; review and release drawing packages.
• Develop verification and test procedures per FAA requirements.
• Coordinate with fabrication facilities and vendors; manage redlines.
• Interface with clients, FAA designees, and cross-functional teams.
• Support bid activities and project scheduling to meet milestones.
