Job summary

Cencora is seeking an Equipment Specialist to drive capital equipment sales and deliver technical assistance for MWI customers and staff. You will report to the Director of Sales – Medical Technology and coordinate with cross-functional teams to expand equipment adoption and optimize customer outcomes.

The role requires 3+ years in inside sales or customer service, veterinary exposure is a plus, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in inside sales, customer service, call center sales, order management, or related field.
• Certification in customer service or contact center operations preferred.
• Three+ years in veterinary clinic or two+ years in a call center with an animal health distributor/manufacturer is necessary.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Salesforce experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries from sales associates and customers to assist in purchasing and implementing capital equipment.
• Manage sales regions as the equipment ambassador and identify growth opportunities.
• Direct the MWI sales staff to available equipment resources and access methods.
• Assist in special projects when required by team leadership.
• Be or assist as project managers for veterinary hospital new builds, remodels, renovations or relocations.
