BRP US Inc. is seeking a Senior Test Technician (Instrumentation) to lead the preparation, measurement, and execution of field and laboratory tests for our prototype recreational vehicles.

You will work closely with the Laboratory Manager, Project Manager, and engineering teams to ensure data quality, reliability, and compliance with ROHVA, ISO, and EN standards. Qualifications

• Associate Degree or equivalent vocational diploma in a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of instrumentation and data acquisition experience in vehicle development.
• Experience configuring data acquisition systems (Somat eDAQ, Ipetronik, Siemens, IMC) and familiarity with vehicle/industrial protocols.
• Proficiency and valid licensing/permits for operating recreational vehicles (ATV, SSV, personal watercraft, Spyder).
• Strong analytical mindset, data integrity focus, and high autonomy in solving complex problems.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg), travel ~10 weeks/year, onsite in Palm Bay, FL.

Responsabilités

• Translate engineering requirements into testing objectives and instrumentation solutions tailored to feasibility constraints.
• Autonomously plan, coordinate, and execute testing campaigns in the lab and at external sites.
• Configure, calibrate, and integrate sensors and measurement equipment (temperature, pressure, flow, force/load, vibration).
• Program data acquisition systems and configure CAN/XCP networks.
• Operate test vehicles, capture telemetry data, and perform regulatory tests (ROHVA, ISO, EN).
• Validate data quality, troubleshoot faults, and propose improvements to engineers.
