Qualifications

• Bachelor’s level engineering degree required or equivalent.
• Experience in automotive systems design, development, or testing is required.
• Strong understanding of powertrain and chassis system principles.

Responsibilities

• Support test planning with Design and Program Engineers to ensure proper vehicle configuration and procedures.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure representation, instrumentation, and readiness for testing.
• Monitor daily test activities and communicate issues promptly.
• Maintain high-quality database records of issues and resolutions.
• Assist with root-cause analysis by driving vehicles and consulting with Design Engineers.
• Provide detailed repair guidance to technicians with engineering procedures and illustrations.
• Support new diagnostic, safety, or test equipment/method implementations.
• Identify needs for test hardware or software upgrades and support business cases.
• Maintain data analysis macros and programs.
• Compile test data, perform analyses, and provide conclusions to customers.
