Job summary

Barrett-Jackson Auction Company in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Title Supervisor to review, process, track, and distribute vehicle titles and related documentation. The role requires extensive hands-on title experience and strong knowledge of title requirements across multiple states.

You will work with customers, dealerships, financial institutions, and DMV offices, maintain accurate title records, and support the Consignment Department during live auction events.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on motor vehicle title experience strongly preferred.
• Extensive experience processing titles from multiple U.S. states required.
• Dealership, automotive auction, DMV/MVD, or title agency experience required.
• Strong knowledge of state-specific title requirements, liens, dealer reassignments, odometer disclosures, and title brands.
• Ability to independently identify and resolve complex title issues.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, communication, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage a high volume of work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours and weekends during auction events.

Responsibilities

• Review and process incoming vehicle titles and supporting documentation.
• Verify VINs, ownership, odometer disclosures, signatures, assignments, lien releases, title brands, and dealer reassignments.
• Identify and resolve title issues using knowledge of multi-state DMV/MVD requirements.
• Handle complex titles, including out-of-state titles, liens, estates, trusts, powers of attorney, and branded titles.
• Communicate with customers, dealerships, financial institutions, and DMV/MVD offices to resolve title issues.
• Maintain accurate title records and follow up on missing or corrected documentation.
• Process buyer and seller documents and mail titles for sold and no-sale vehicles.
• Assist the Consignment Department during live auction events.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
