Job summary

ManpowerGroup (USA) client in Austin, TX is seeking a Vehicle Technician 1 / Sr. Service Technician to join the Maintenance Department supporting the Fleet Operations Team.

You will configure, diagnose and sign off on vehicles for safe on-road operation while performing scheduled maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of vehicle maintenance methods, 2–4 years of technician experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of vehicle maintenance methods, techniques, parts, tools and materials.
• 2–4 years of technician experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication skills, honesty and responsibility in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Configure, set up, maintain, diagnose and sign off on vehicles for safe operation.
• Perform scheduled vehicle maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Coordinate and drive the repair process, escalating issues to engineering teams as needed.
• Create diagnostic test plans and maintain detailed service records and quality reports.
• Maintain shop facilities, tools and workspace to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
