Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) in Austin, TX is seeking a Vehicle Technician 1 to join the Maintenance Department and support the Fleet Operations Team. The role focuses on configuring, maintaining, diagnosing, and signing off on vehicles for safe on-road operation.

You will perform scheduled maintenance, coordinate repair processes with engineering, and create detailed service records. A self-motivated, reliable candidate with strong vehicle maintenance knowledge and good communication skills will fit

Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of vehicle maintenance methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials.
Minimum of 2 - 4 years of technician experience in a related field.
Valid driver's license with a clean/excellent driving record.
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks.

Responsibilities

Configure, set up, maintain, diagnose, and sign off on vehicles for safe on-road operation.
Perform scheduled vehicle maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
Coordinate and drive the repair process, escalating issues to engineering teams as needed.
Create diagnostic test plans and maintain detailed service records and quality reports.
Maintain shop facilities, tools, and workspace to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
