Job summary

Intrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC is seeking a Vehicle Mechanic to repair and overhaul automobiles, trucks, ATVs and heavy equipment. The role emphasizes late-model European, Diesel Japanese, American vehicles and equipment with strong diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities include diagnostic work, component removal and replacement, and air conditioning service with EPA 609 license. Experience with BMW/Mercedes is preferred; long-term reliability and an ability to work in austere conditions are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5–7 years of related automotive repair experience.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Current ASE certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plans work procedures.
• Raises vehicles with hydraulic jack or hoist to access undersides.
• Removes engine, transmission or differentials and inspects parts.
• Disassembles units and repairs or replaces worn parts.
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots mechanical and electrical problems.
• Rewires ignition, lights and instrument panel; operate scan tools.
• Extensive electronic diagnostic skills/experience required.
• Air conditioning experience with EPA 609 license.
• May work in austere climate; not all work is in a shop.
• Other duties may be assigned; experience with BMW and Mercedes preferred.
