Job summary

Motor Coach Industries in Blackwood, NJ, is seeking experienced Mechanics to diagnose and repair diesel, electric, and hydrogen engines across our fleet, with opportunities to mentor junior technicians. The role includes routine maintenance, system inspections, and component repairs to ensure safe, reliable motor coaches.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of automotive/diesel experience, HV safety training, and familiarity with diagnostic tools such as Vansco and Cummins INSITE.

Qualifications

5-10 years in automotive, diesel, or related fields
HV safety certification or training highly desired
CDL with Air/Passenger endorsements preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair diesel, electric, and hydrogen engines
Lead and mentor Mechanic Helpers and senior team members
Perform routine maintenance including lubrication, filter changes, and tire service
Repair radiators, hoses, brakes, steering, and electrical components
Assist with glass installations and basic body repairs
Inspect and service pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Ensure safety procedures are followed and documentation updated
