Job summary

Wayve, based in Sunnyvale, CA, is seeking an Vehicle Integration Lead to head electrical architecture, integration, validation, and delivery of autonomous driving systems across vehicle platforms. You’ll lead compute, sensing, power, and networks integration, coordinating with OEMs and suppliers to ensure safe, reliable, production-ready systems.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in electrical and mechanical engineering, vehicle integration, autonomous vehicles, ADAS, robotics, or advanced mobility.
• Deep understanding of vehicle electrical and electronic architectures.
• Demonstrated experience integrating complex electrical systems into development or production vehicles.
• Experience taking vehicle hardware from requirements and architecture through prototype integration, validation, and production readiness.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle power distribution, automotive compute, ECUs, and vehicle communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical architecture, mechanical design, and vehicle integration across development vehicle platforms.
• Own integration from early architecture through prototype builds, validation, production readiness, and deployment.
• Coordinate with software, systems, OEMs, and assembly partners to define interfaces and validation plans.
• Drive vehicle-level bring-up, commissioning, and verification activities.
• Mentor engineers and drive cross-team collaboration to balance performance, safety, and schedule.
