Job summary

Wayve is seeking a Director of Application Software, US, to lead the engineering org responsible for bringing core AI and autonomous driving tech into customer vehicles. You will work at the intersection of AI, autonomy, vehicle engineering, and automotive partners to deploy safe, production-ready driving capabilities.

You’ll shape how application engineering scales across platforms and markets, collaborating with partners and internal teams to deliver reliable deployments and technical strategy.

Qualifications

• Significant engineering leadership within autonomous driving, ADAS, or automotive AI.
• Strong understanding of ML-enabled driving capabilities and vehicle integration lifecycle.
• Experience taking features from development to production with ownership across autonomy/ML.
• Experience delivering complex software or AI-enabled systems in production automotive programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the US Application Software organisation.
• Own application of core AI and autonomous driving tech to customer vehicle programmes from definition to production.
• Guide development of ADAS and autonomous driving capabilities across ML, autonomy, and vehicle software.
• Bridge Wayve's engineering teams with OEM customers and define priorities.
• Provide architectural leadership across autonomous driving, embedded software, and vehicle integration.
