Job summary

Wayve in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Vehicle Integration Lead to provide technical leadership for the electrical architecture, integration, validation, and delivery of our autonomous driving systems across vehicle platforms.

You will work closely with Systems Engineering, Embedded Software, Autonomy, Safety, OEMs, and suppliers to ensure hardware interfaces are defined and validated, drive best practices, and deliver reliable vehicle integration from prototype to production readiness.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in electrical and mechanical engineering for vehicle integration.
• Proven ability to integrate complex electrical systems into development or production vehicles.
• Experience from requirements through prototype integration to production readiness.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle power distribution, ECUs, sensors, and networks.
• Hands-on debugging, bring-up, and root-cause analysis across hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical architecture, mechanical design, and vehicle integration across platforms.
• Own integration from architecture through prototype builds and production readiness.
• Lead integration of high-performance compute, perception sensors, power systems, and networks.
• Define interfaces, architecture, and integration strategies for new platforms.
• Drive verification, validation, and vehicle readiness with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor engineers and guide technical decisions across programs.
