Motional in Las Vegas is seeking a Vehicle Integration Staff / Senior Engineer to lead integration, validation, and troubleshooting of next‑generation vehicle platforms. The role drives root cause analysis of complex vehicle‑level issues while ensuring seamless integration of electrical, electronic, and networked systems.

The ideal candidate combines hands‑on debugging with a systems level understanding of vehicle architectures, communication networks, and ECU interactions.

Qualificações

• 8+ years in vehicle integration or automotive electronics.
• Strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting of complex electrical and networked systems.
• Deep understanding of CAN/CAN FD protocols and tools such as Vector CANalyzer, CANoe, PCAN.
• Knowledge of Automotive Ethernet (100BASE‑T1, 1000BASE‑T1) and DoIP/SOME/IP/AVB/TSN.
• Experience with electrical system debugging using oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring harnesses, and connectors.
• Experience with vehicle network architecture development and topology design.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and technical communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead root cause analysis of complex vehicle integration issues across electrical, network, software, and hardware domains.
• Develop and execute vehicle integration, design validation, and product validation test plans.
• Integrate, configure, and validate ECUs, sensors, actuators, and embedded systems at vehicle level.
• Debug and validate vehicle networks (CAN, CAN FD, Automotive Ethernet, gateway routing).
• Document root cause findings and corrective actions to improve quality and efficiency.
• Partner with ADAS, Vehicle Engineering, Infotainment, Supplier Quality, and Connectivity teams.
• Support vehicle builds, bring‑up activities, and validation testing throughout prototype and production.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
