Job summary

Bosch USA is seeking a Senior Vehicle Hardware Engineer (Electrical & System Integration) to lead electrical architecture, power distribution, in-vehicle networking, and hardware bring-up for ADAS and autonomous test fleets.

You will translate high-level software and perception requirements into automotive-grade electrical designs and wire harness solutions, collaborating with perception, compute software, and safety teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years in automotive electrical engineering, harness design, or hardware integration for ADAS/AV systems.
• Deep understanding of CAN, CAN-FD, and Automotive Ethernet networks.
• Hands-on with diagnostic tools: Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, Wireshark, oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers.
• Experience selecting automotive-grade connectors (TE, Molex, Amphenol) and high-speed serialization hardware.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical architecture, power distribution, in-vehicle networking, and hardware bring-up for ADAS/AV test fleets.
• Translate software/perception requirements into automotive-grade electrical designs and wire harness solutions.
• Design low-voltage power distribution with sequencing, protection, and battery backup for compute nodes and sensors.
• Oversee harness fabrication and interconnect assemblies for automotive environments.
• Collaborate with perception, compute software, and safety teams on interfaces, power budgets, and sensor pinouts.
