Bosch USA is seeking a Systems Engineer for HV BMS to design and steer high-voltage battery management systems for automotive and stationary applications. You will translate customer needs into system, hardware, software, safety, and validation requirements, and lead cross-functional teams for robust, scalable solutions.

The role demands deep HV BMS expertise, experience with AUTOSAR, and strong problem-solving capabilities, plus collaboration with global teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or related Engineering field. Master's preferred.
• 10+ years in embedded control systems with HV BMS experience.
• Deployment experience for HV BMS in automotive, commercial vehicle, or BESS.
• HV BMS domain knowledge including SOC/SOH/SOP, cell balancing, pre-charge, and HV safety.
• Proficiency in Embedded C, AUTOSAR, diagnostics, and runtime analysis.
• Hardware & systems understanding for HV design, sensing, and power electronics.
• Knowledge of automotive development processes (ASPICE) and safety/security standards (ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434).

Responsabilités

• Own and steer the HV BMS architecture across controllers, software, and hardware interfaces.
• Derive system, hardware, software, safety, and validation specifications from customer needs.
• Define embedded control architecture for BMS software (AUTOSAR) including drivers and diagnostics.
• Lead architecture for BMS functions: SoX, cell balancing, monitoring, contactor control, thermal management.
• Integrate safety and cybersecurity standards and support safety analyses (FMEA, FTA).
• Provide technical leadership to hardware, software, and validation teams; review interfaces.
• Lead complex debugging and root-cause analysis across system domains.
• Serve as senior technical contact for customers and lead design reviews and workshops.
