Job summary

Stellantis in Auburn Hills, MI seeks a Vehicle Access Validation Lead to validate Vehicle Access components per E/E & Access test plans. Lead a team of T&V engineers across Detroit and India, coordinating with suppliers and feature owners to identify defects early.

The role emphasizes developing robust test plans, reviewing outcomes, and ensuring compliance. Strong leadership, CAN tooling expertise, and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in electrical systems design, development, or test engineering.
• Experience with DFMEA and DVP&R processes.
• Trained in DVP and DFMEA practices.
• Experience validating complex systems and using CAN tools.
• Leadership and ability to manage global validation teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a T&V team to develop core electrical test procedures and global test norms.
• Collaborate with suppliers, DREs, and cross-functional teams on issue management.
• Review test plans and reports to ensure complete coverage and defect elimination.
• Troubleshoot ECUs, System HIL, and test environments to reduce false positives.
• Mentor team members and drive improvements to testing procedures.
